A good place to start.
By Rev Rog
Church history for the curious is a great place to start for those interested in learning about the Christian church and the events that have made it what it is today. Why are there so many different denominations? Why are there so many different ways people worship? Why do some people baptize one way and others another? Why do some take communion weekly and others not at all? Written in a simple and understandable way, the author walks the reader through a journey of 2000 years to share a synopsis of the churches path to the 21st century. Warning this book is not a detailed scholarly attempt at historical reciprocity. It is however a great guide for beginners. As a pastor for 20 years I highly recommend it!
