One of my favorites

Some Book of Mormon readers have a personal "hero" from that sacred text. Moroni is definitely one of my favorites.
This book does a fabulous job of relaying Moroni's life, the times he lived in, and his relationship with his father Mormon.

This simple book touches my heart and expands my understanding. This author explains what Moroni's works and teachings mean to me and to the world. The chapters span the life and times of the Nephite Prophet Moroni during his mortal ministry, his role some 1,400 years later during the 1800s at which time he is known as "The Angel Moroni," and his future roles as they are prophesied in the New Testament and other sources (p 162).
The author is a BYU professor and well-loved teacher who has cross-referenced his findings about Moroni from the Bible and from all other scriptures and he uses information from numerous 19th-century journals and historical accounts. His book is much more than a compilation of events. It is the summary of a lifetime study.
