An ideal quick reference

I really like this dictionary--it is exactly what it says it is: a pocket dictionary of Church History. With over 300 entries, it covers all the main players and movements you need to know about; and it is cross referenced. Each entry gives a date, then a concise definition of what you need to know about it and why it matters. It has a helpful appendix in the back with the entries in Chronological order according to century. I use this dictionary to just read and try to memorize entries, and then test myself by going through the appendix (as if it were a flashcard).

wish the kindle version had chapter links for each letter of the alphabet. This way you could jump to the location you wanted more easily. I ended up putting in a bunch of highlights throughout the book so I could more easily jump to the area I needed and browse for my terms.
