One of the most balanced and objective books I've ever read about the Mormons

Matthew Bowman does an outstanding job presenting the Mormon people, their identity, their beliefs and their place in the American Dream. He is astute in his observations and takes a very balanced, thoughtful and comprehensive look at this remarkable and fascinating religious movement and the people that have lived and continue to thrive in it. I recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about the Mormons and strongly suggest it to Mormons themselves as an excellent way to understand their history and current place in the world.
