The Jaredites traveled across an ocean to the New World circa 2500 BC via barges? This is part of your timeline of Mormon "history"?
The authors obviously consider the Mormon Bible to be a historical document--a document which was translated from golden plates given to Joseph Smith by an angel, translated from the "reformed Egyptian" language by use of "peep" stones placed in a hat and pulled over his face.
