5Voting for a Mormon is voting for America's best.
By Ashley Susan
James Hale, a modern day reformer, brings you back in time for a walk through the history of America and her ever changing relationship with politics and religion. Hale references founding fathers, theological reformers, and of course the scriptures for his quotes, facts, and arguments. This book helps today's Christian grapple with the topics that are huge in the upcoming presidential election- abortion, homosexual marriage, and general government style. "Why a Christian Can and Should Vote for a Mormon" encourages believers to vote because of the principles and Biblical morals that Mormon's adhere to. This is a good read for the undecided voter, for the American historian, and for the Christian who doesn't care, but should.

5Salt and light
By Matthew J
A well rounded book, not only is this a great read for those with questions about who we should vote for as Christians, but it is a great read for those who have not really thought about how to address politics and the Bible. Not only should we be engaged with our government, we should be helping to shape it. The book lays this out as well as why we are in the shape that we are in morally in this nation. For far too long has the church sat idle as if nothing is wrong or thinking we should not be involved with the shaping of legislation and laws. We are called to be salt and light to the culture around us and this book does a great job in showing how we are to be just that to our government. A must read for pastors who desire to preach with boldness from the pulpit.

Product Description

Over the last few years Christians have been tongue tied on how to answer post-modern thought in politics. This year the issue is Mormonism vs Christianity. Can a Christian really vote for a Mormon? Is political support for someone outside the Christian faith allowed in Scripture? Christians fear saying yes or no. James Hale says yes we can and should support a Mormon this election. This issue as well as moral issues bring fears that are wrongly placed. Christians can be bold about the truth of Scripture. We need to pray for this election outcome, but are there also things that we can do as voters other than vote? Are there points that pastors can give to help lead the church in voting issues? This book by Christian apologist James Hale will show that the church does have a voice in civil government now, but should use that voice now before they lose it to those that hate God. This book is a must read by all church leaders
